Halfords, the UK’s leading cycle retailer has joined forces with Welsh Cycling to bring back the Welsh National Champions Jersey, which recognises the achievements of Welsh cyclists, read full report Welsh Championship.
The date for Round 3 has changed to Saturday so that you can combine the Dragon XC with the Merida at Llanwrtyd Wells on the Sunday!

Welcome to Dragon XC - the Welsh cross country series. We're back for 2009 with a series of 4 races at some of the best
courses in Wales. This year's gonna be a corker! We're really looking forward to it - so why not come and join us and have a
go at competing - whatever your ability!
Each course has been designed by mountain bikers and racers providing the ultimate challenge to all riders - from elite racers to weekend warriors - on some of the finest mountain bike terrain in the UK!
Each venue will offer hard standing car parks, toilets, hot food, hot showers (at Llandegla) and live commentary of all races.
We aim to make the 2009 Welsh Series as strong as possible. With your support and participation we intend to build upon this
success by increasing the number of races to 6 in 2010, taking in more classic Welsh xc courses, possibly a single loop
competitive marathon series and a 24hr race.
You can now enter all 2009 events online - simply choose your races, register and then checkout.
After each event there will be a full event review on this website.
The Pontypool Round will also be the Welsh National Championship backed by a major sponsor - and for all qualifying riders
there will be Welsh Champion jerseys up for grabs!
